An alternative way to make your smoothie!

Pedal power is the order of the day for anyone thirsty for a fruit smoothie on the farm.

In an attempt to highlight the need for all of us to look for alternatives to fossil fuels, a human-powered bike blender has been added to the opportunities for students to try whilst on the Traidhos farm.

The faster you pedal, the smoother the combination of fresh fruit, crushed ice and drinking yogurt becomes. It’s a great way to think about alternative energy sources and to work up a thirst for your very own fruit drink!
